TUFCU Community Cookouts Brought Members, Neighbors and Staff Together

There is something special about sharing a meal with the people you serve.

Last month, TUFCU hosted three Community Cookouts at our Uniontown, Cheat Lake and Mount Pleasant branches. Each event gave us the chance to step outside the usual day-to-day routine, spend time with members and welcome neighbors from the surrounding communities.

The goal was simple: provide free lunch, enjoy time together and create a space where people could connect with the TUFCU team in a relaxed, friendly setting.

For us, that is what being a credit union is all about.

More than a place to bank

TUFCU has always been built around people.

Yes, we help members with loans, accounts and everyday financial needs. But our role goes beyond transactions. We are here to build relationships, answer questions, support families and stay connected to the communities we serve.

The Community Cookouts were a reminder of that.

At each branch, members stopped by for lunch, employees had the chance to catch up with familiar faces and new visitors were able to learn a little more about who we are. There was no formal agenda and no pressure. Just good food, friendly conversation and time spent together.

Sometimes that is the best way to build trust.

Celebrating our local communities

Each TUFCU branch has its own community around it.

Uniontown, Cheat Lake and Mount Pleasant are all different, but the heart behind each cookout was the same. We wanted to say thank you to the people who continue to support TUFCU and give others an easy opportunity to get to know us.

We are grateful for everyone who took time out of their day to stop by.

Whether you came during your lunch break, brought your family, visited with our staff or simply grabbed a quick bite, your presence helped make each cookout a success.

Events like these matter because they give us the chance to connect face-to-face. In a world where so much banking can happen online or through an app, we still believe there is value in being present, available and part of the community.

A thank you to our members and neighbors

To everyone who attended one of our Community Cookouts, thank you.

Your support means a lot to our team. We know you have options when it comes to where you bank, borrow and save. When you choose TUFCU, you are not just choosing a financial institution. You are becoming part of a credit union that is committed to serving local people and local communities.

We also want to thank our staff members who helped plan, prepare and welcome guests at each branch. These events would not have been possible without their time, effort and care.

Staying connected beyond the cookout

While the cookouts may be over, the connection does not end there.

If you attended one of the events and have questions about membership, loans, accounts or other services, our team would be happy to help. If you did not make it to a cookout, we would still love to see you at one of our branches.

Stop by, say hello and let us know how TUFCU can support you.

We are proud to serve Uniontown, Cheat Lake, Mount Pleasant and the surrounding communities, and we are thankful for every opportunity to bring people together.

Thank you again to everyone who helped make our Community Cookouts a success.
